Peugeots old 7 seater estate car proved to be massively popular, now they have created a brand new 7 seater car. The 5008 will be the final car in Peugeot’s line up, and they hope that it will prove to be a more popular car than the likes of the Vauxhall Zafira and the Renault Scenic.
This new car that’s been announced features a range of storage saving devices, plus a Peugeot classic sleek design, it goes to show that not all 7 seater people carriers have to look like tanks.
The car is completely flexible, allowing you to flatten each of the second row seats individually to give you some extra room. Another option is to flatten the entire back row of seats to you a massive 2,506 litres of storage space.
Aswell as huge storage space in the boot, there are a number of underfloor boxes designed for storage, aswell as a huge 10.5 litre cool box in the centre console.
There will be a range of engines available for this new people carrier. On offer are 2 different 1.6 litre petrol powered engines, capable of either 120bhp or 156bhp. There are also 3 different diesel engines available, a 1.6 litre 110bhp or the other 2 options are 2 litres managing 150bhp or 163bhp.
The new 5008 is being showed off in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The 5008 is due for release at the beginnging of 2010 at a £15,000 price tag. If you are concerned about the price of it, buying your own brand new one isn’t the only option you have.
Leasing tends to be the most forgotten option when it comes to buying a new car, even though you can generally get cheaper prices through leasing.
