Porsche Panamera. The First Sedan

Unveiled at the April 2009 Shanghai Auto Show, the Porsche Panamera is a sports sedan that lives up to the Porsche legacy. The car has created some controversy with its style, as it has only four seats and a hatchback that some say create a bulky appearance, particularly in photographs. However, the driving dynamics prove that this Porsche has the inner workings of a sports car, not a sedan.

 

Appearance

The Panamera is large, measuring 195.7 inches long and 55.8 inches tall, making it appear a bit more bulky than other Porsche sports cars. The rear with its hatchback design seems a bit heavyset compared to other high-performance vehicles, and this is accentuated in photographs. A tricky design for the Porsche boys. The engine sounds powerful with a nice growl. 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670. Super Car

Lotus Evora. Elise made More Fun

The newest sports car to be hit the market in 2010 is called the Lotus Evora and is a slightly larger car than the Lotus Elise. It will be the first completely new Lotus vehicle in almost 15 years which is definitely something to take notice of. When the Evora goes past, you would want to stare then develop some interest. Revealed at the 2008 London Motor Show, this classy deep-silver two-door, mid engine coupe was shown as a classic Lotus design. The Evora extracts the most from the least, commanding high performance and agile dynamics with its advanced structures and controlled weight.

The Evora Difference

The Evora is larger and much more luxurious and sexy than the other models in the Lotus line up. It is roomier than other sports cars and more accommodating as well. 2010 Ferrari 16M Scuderia

This would not be a Ferrari without the excitement and the hype. The two year waiting list for the 16M Scuderia is proof that the model is as special as its siblings. Functually, the 16M is just an upgraded F430 Spider with the same low back pressure and higher compression. Ferrari is living up to its name in terms of setting standards from the engine sound to the rate at which the soft top can be converted. 

The Power Within 

The 16M has a classy 4.three litre V8 with 503 hp, 347 pound feet of torque which is an improvement over the F430's 483hp. The engine is bolted to the F1-Superfast2 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission which can shift in 60 milliseconds with torque interruption at about 40 milliseconds. 2010 Porsche 911 GT3. Keeps Getting Better.

What Porsche has to offer for 2010 is the 911 GT3. This car has been long awaited by Porsche fans and was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The vehicle won`t be available for purchase until October of 2009. For now the photos and test results are enough.

Plenty of Changes

The GT3 is not an entirely new model, rather it`s a revamped version of a previous Porsche 911. The original did enough to impress the folk at CAR magazine in 2007 to be named the best ever Porsche.

A number of things have been changed, including a 20 bhp increase over the previous model. The body has been adjusted for better aerodynamics, air outlets were added to the front end and the rear wing is more adjustable than before. 2009 Mercedes Benz SL63 AMG Roadster. Power at your disposal

Is there a perfect mix between a sports car and a touring vehicle?  Well there didn’t used to be, but the 2009 Mercedes SL63 aimed to change all that.

The SL55 made the game hard not only for competitors but also for Mercedes themselves. How where they ever going to improve on near perfect? The SL63 AMG is the answer.

No many sports cars weigh more than 2 tons. However this car is all worth that weight.

All that is needed to take this Roadster to 60 in under 4 seconds are 500 horses which by the way beats rivals such as the Chevy Camaro SS and the Dodge Challenger.Paying close to $150 000 means a buyer has every right to have high expectations.
